The standout performer of Q4. Strong demand for fixed-income exposure drove aggressive upside momentum, making it the top gainer in the portfolio.
ARADEL:Gained +37.9%
Sustained bullish momentum in the energy space. Strong accumulation and trend continuation confirmed ARADEL as a core Q4 leader.
DANGCEM:Up +16.0%
Continued leadership in the cement sector, supported by infrastructure demand and steady institutional participation.

SUNUASSUR:Dropped –9.5%

CONOIL:Down –11.3%
The weakest name in Q4, reflecting pressure in downstream oil stocks despite broader market strength.
Overall Market Sentiment
**Average portfolio change:+12.2% for Q4 2025**
This reflects a clearly bullish Q4, driven primarily by energy, cement, and fixed-income ETF exposure. Gains comfortably outweighed losses, with leadership concentrated in ARADEL, VSPBONDETF, and DANGCEM.
Trading Takeaway
The Q4 2025 Nigerian stock portfolio delivered strong risk-adjusted performance, led by energy and defensive yield plays. While insurance and downstream oil lagged, the portfolio’s diversification allowed strong winners to dominate overall returns.
Going forward, investors may consider:
Profit protection on extended names like VSPBONDETF and ARADEL.
*Accumulation on pullbacks in structurally sound stocks such as VFDGROUP, HMCALL, and SUNUASSUR.

GTCO: Technical Outlook and Bullish Projection for 2026LSE:GTCO : Technical Outlook and Bullish Projection for 2026
The Guaranty Trust Holding Company (GTCO) has recently demonstrated a technical pullback toward a significant ascending trendline. This primary support structure has been developing since mid-April 2025, originating near the N57.5 level. This correction followed the stock reaching a notable all-time high (ATH) of approximately N103.
Technical Analysis and Key Levels.
Currently, the N89 level serves as a critical resistance zone. The price action at this junction will likely determine the medium-term trajectory.
There are two primary scenarios to consider:
1. Resistance Confirmation: If the N89 zone holds as firm resistance, we may see a secondary retest of the ascending trendline. This would allow for further liquidity accumulation before a potential bullish continuation.
2. Support Stability: The primary ascending trendline remains the backbone of the current bullish thesis. A successful defence of this line suggests that the long-term upward momentum is still intact.
Trade Setup and Risk Management.
The following levels are identified based on current market structure and historical volatility:
Entry Zone: N85.2
Target 1 (TP1): N103.2 (Previous ATH Resistance)
Target 2 (TP2): N120.0 (Extended Projection)
Stop Loss: N76.8
Risk-to-Reward (R:R) Profile:
Scenario A (TP1): 1:2.14
Scenario B (TP2): 1:4.27

Technical Analysis: Zenith Bank PLC (ZENITHBANK)Zenith Bank is currently undergoing a corrective phase following its all-time high (ATH) of N78.5.
From a technical perspective, the asset is facing significant resistance at the N63 level, where the current downward trend converges with horizontal resistance.
As a technical trader, my strategy focuses on the ascending trend line visible on the chart. Given the current struggle to break through overhead resistance, I anticipate a further retracement toward this ascending support to find a high-probability entry point.
Proposed Entry Zones I have identified two primary entry zones based on psychological levels and historical support:
• Primary Entry: N60.0 (Psychological Level)
◦ Risk/Reward (RR1): 1:2.6
• Secondary Entry: N58.6 (Trend Line Confluence)
◦ Risk/Reward (RR2): 1:3.4
• Stop Loss (SL): N52.8
Risk Management
While active traders should strictly adhere to the stop-loss level of N52.8 to protect capital, long-term investors may choose a different risk profile based on their individual investment horizons.
Please manage your positions with care and continue to refine your technical skills

---
Decliners
TRANSPOWER:Down –2.2%, a modest pullback but still structurally intact for Q4.
VFDGROUP:Dropped –7.8%, facing correction after its earlier strength.
MULTIVERSE:Down –27.7%, the steepest decline of the group, giving up a major portion of previous gains.
SUNUASSUR:Fell –26.2%, reflecting continuing weakness in the insurance sector.
CONOIL:Dropped –11.3% aligned with the broader slump in downstream oil stocks.
Overall Market Sentiment
The portfolio shows mixed sentiment heading deeper into Q4.
Energy (ARADEL) continue to lead market strength.
Insurance and mining names dragged the overall portfolio lower.
Stable performers (LEGENDINT and HMCALL) provided resilience amid volatility.
📌 Average Percentage Change (Across All Stocks): –4.2%
This indicates a slightly bearish tilt overall, driven mainly by deep declines in insurance and mining stocks, despite strong gains in select energy names.
Investing Takeaway for November
Q4 showcases clear sector divergence, Maybe Lock in profits from out-performers like ARADEL
Accumulate dips on stable, steady performers such as HMCALL and LEGENDINT
Approach high-volatility stocks (MULTIVERSE and SUNUASSUR) with tighter risk controls.

NNFM LONG IDEA For some weeks, there had been a breakout of a bearish trendline. However, the awesome oscillator was still showing red bar. Recently, a green bar has been shown indicating that buyers are in the market. Although, there hasn't been a strong momentum. In few weeks to come, a strong momentum could follow up.
To take advantage of this opportunity, you can buy at the current market price. Targets are N108.2 (15.62%), N118.5 (26.30%) and N138.7 (48.08%).
Confluences for the long opportunity
1. Trendline and resistance level breakout
2. Bullish market structure
3. The stock is oversold
Disclaimer: This is not a financial advice. The projection maybe different from the actual outcome. Don't invest your money on the stock if you're not willing to accept the risk.
OANDO PRICE ACTIONcontrary to the idea i had previously on oando ,am expecting price to drop to 41.80 region and if that supports levels holds we might see a decent level upwards, tho the rest of the foundations depends on fundamental analytical bases which are not in favour of oando following dangote dominance in the oil sector

MTN Nigeria is seriously cooling offMTN Nigeria Stock Analysis
On Monday, December 9th, 2024, MTN Nigeria experienced a significant turning point in its price action. From its all-time high of ₦320 on January 9th, 2024, the stock declined steadily until it reached a low of ₦170 on December 9th, 2024. This level, which initially acted as a major support, later became a key resistance zone.
The eventual breakout above the ₦170 resistance on 9th December 2024 marked the beginning of a strong upward rally, propelling the stock to a new peak of ₦495, just shy of the psychological ₦500 level.
Technical Outlook:
Based on current chart analysis, there is a possibility of the stock revisiting the ₦400 zone.
This level aligns with a confluence point on the resistance trendline that has been in play since May 20th, 2019, making it a critical area to watch for potential price reactions.

Honeywell Flour Mills (NGX:HONYFLOUR) Technical OutlookHoneywell Flour Mills (NGX: HONYFLOUR) Technical Outlook
Honeywell’s stock on the NGX recently staged a strong rally after breaking through its long-standing resistance at ₦5, reaching an all-time high (ATH) of approximately ₦30.
However, the stock was unable to sustain momentum at that level and has since pulled back by about 25% from its peak, currently consolidating around a key support zone at ₦21.30.
From a technical perspective, there appears to be the formation of a head and shoulders pattern, though not immediately obvious.
If the current support level fails to hold, the price could potentially retrace towards the ₦18.50 zone (a minor support level) or possibly lower, as suggested by the chart structure.
For long-term positioning, I would be more comfortable initiating entries around the ₦15.40 zone, where the stock would be trading at a significant discount.
This level offers a more attractive risk-reward ratio for accumulation.
